Our team is looking for a bilingual MS Knowledge Network Navigator, anywhere in Canada, working 9am-5pm PST (12pm-8pm EST) , on a full-time basis working 35 hours per week. The impact you will have:
The bilingual MS Knowledge Network Navigator is the first point of contact for the organization. This role guides individuals to appropriate resources, programs, and services and provides critical front-line support to Canadians living with and impacted by MS. MS Knowledge Network Navigators provide support to individuals by phone, email and live chat.
Key Areas of Impact:
- Continuously maintains current and accurate knowledge about the organization in order to respond effectively to inquiries.
- Provides excellent standards of service by guiding individuals affected by MS to a broad variety of resources, such as current programs, supports, and services.
- Proactively and continuously collects and disseminates information and resources on MS knowledge.
- Assesses and documents MS community members' needs and concerns and helps guide MS community members with issues they encounter.
Our ideal candidate:
- Is fluent in English (written and verbal) and French (considered an asset) for business operations across Canada.
- Has knowledge and experience working with persons affected by MS or individuals with other chronic illnesses or disability.
- Demonstrates exceptional skills of active listening, effective knowledge transfer, and empathetic communication, both verbal and written.
- Has strong knowledge of the social service sector and health, government and community services.
- Exhibits excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, assessment skills and experience managing distress/crisis situations.
- Displays a high level of computer skills, keyboarding, advanced internet searching and operating within a database. Able to multi-task and move between multiple applications while supporting individuals in real time.
- Shows willingness and capacity to engage in, and apply, continuous learning related to multiple sclerosis and its management, as well as the rapidly changing health and social services landscape.
- Is self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team while working remotely.
- Displays strengths in research and scientific literacy. Employs effective knowledge translation strategies to synthesize and communicate complex information to diverse audiences.

Depuis 75 ans, nous poursuivons notre mission, laquelle consiste à mobiliser la collectivité de la SP en vue de la réalisation de progrès notables. Vous pourriez vous joindre à nous pour nous aider à concrétiser la vision et à accomplir la mission de SP Canada! Nous cherchons actuellement à pourvoir d’un agent ou d’une agente info-SP bilingue. La personne choisie travaillera selon un horaire hebdomadaire de 35 heures. Résidant dans n’importe quelle région du Canada, la personne choisie travaillera de 9h à 17h (HP) (12h à 20h, HE). Elle bénéficiera de modalités de travail flexibles et sera amenée à prendre part à quelques rencontres en personne ciblées, selon son lieu de résidence. P rincipaux domaines d’impact
- Maintient continuellement à jour des connaissances précises sur l’organisation afin de répondre efficacement aux demandes d’information.

Profil du candidat idéal ou de la candidate idéale:
- Maîtrise de l’anglais et du français, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit, pour les milieux d’affaires canadiens (considéré un atout).
- Expérience et connaissances liées aux personnes touchées par la SP ou d’autres maladies chroniques et incapacités.
- Démontre des compétences exceptionnelles d’écoute active, de transfert efficace de connaissances et de communication empathique, tant verbale qu’écrite.
- Possède une solide connaissance du secteur des services sociaux et des services de santé, gouvernementaux et communautaires.
- Fait preuve d'excellentes compétences en matière de service à la clientèle et de relations interpersonnelles, de capacités d'évaluation et d'expérience dans la gestion de situations de détresse/crise.
- Affiche un niveau élevé de compétences en informatique, en saisie au clavier, en recherche avancée sur Internet et en fonctionnement dans une base de données. Capable d'effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois et de passer d'une application à l'autre tout en aidant les individus en temps réel.
- Démontre la volonté et la capacité de s’engager dans un apprentissage continu lié à la sclérose en plaques et à sa gestion, ainsi qu’à l’évolution rapide du domaine des services de santé et sociaux.
