Location: Laval (4204 Industrial Blvd., Laval)

Hybrid mode: 3 days at the Laval office and 2 days remotely

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (37,5 hours)

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Payment Reconciliation Accounting Supervisor, as part of the Operational Accounting team, the Reconciliation Accounting Analyst will provide accounting support services to the stores under his/her responsibility.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Here are some ways you can make a difference:

• Prepare reconciliations of general ledger accounts related to payment methods accepted in store;

  • Cash deposits

  • Debit/Credit Cards

  • Oil Debit/Credit Cards

  • Oil Promotions & Discount Coupons

  • Prepaid Cards & Gift Cards

• Responsible for explaining and justifying the various discrepancies related to the payment methods appearing on the periodic billing of certain stores.

• Provide ongoing support to team members for all new requests.

• Actively participate in new payment projects.

• Participate in the continuous improvement of the processes used in the position.

• Provide support to store managers and coordinators as well as the accounting teamRecommend and participate in the implementation of measures to improve and optimize processes and controls;

• Provide support to accounting colleagues.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Formation:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

Experiences:

• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Good knowledge of Excel;

• Ability to manage multiple files;

• Be meticulous, autonomous, show initiative and have a good analytical mind;

• Ability to manage priorities while meeting deadlines;

• Interpersonal skills;

• Aptitude for customer service;

• Knowledge of PDI software will be considered an asset;

• Knowledge of the ReconNet application will be considered an asset

Language Skills:

• Bilingualism is mandatory (French and English) in both written and spoken languages, as the person will be required to serve English-speaking regions.
