Summary

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse, or yard by performing the following duties.

Shift: Monday–Friday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Review inbound appointment log and open order report each day to plan work activities.
• Plan inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Manage sorting operations, productivity, efficiency, safety, and security.
• Determine staffing needs based on workload and schedule staff accordingly.
• Assign workers to specific duties based on workload and shipping schedules.
• Review and update operational procedures as necessary and ensure they are communicated to and understood by the warehouse associates.
• Track productivity and qualify performance by individual, function, and department.
• Advise employees on handling of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
• Trace the history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records, and recommend remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
• Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
• Issue written and oral instructions.
• Ensure that proper safety procedures are followed.
• Position is full-time and on‑site.
• Be available to work afternoons, nights, and weekends.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range

$60,000 – $63,000 (anticipated starting salary range. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.)
