Project Director

AstraZeneca seeks a Project Director for Global Business Services in Mississauga to lead complex global initiatives and transformation programs. The role involves strategic project oversight, change management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver operational and business solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic direction and execution of complex global projects aligned with organizational objectives
Design and implement project governance frameworks ensuring accountability and budget compliance
Develop and oversee change management strategies tailored to business customer environments
Serve as primary liaison between internal teams and key project stakeholders
Mentor junior team members and foster continuous improvement culture within consulting teams

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
Minimum 10 years' experience in complex project management or business consulting
Demonstrated change management and transformation program experience
Project management certification (PMI, PMP, PRINCE2, PROSCI, or similar preferred)
Pharmaceutical industry or large global organization background preferred
Advanced problem-solving and stakeholder engagement capabilities
