Job Responsibility:
Overview:
We are seeking a Line Cook for our breakfast service to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food processing and possess knowledge of food safety practices. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within the food industry.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare breakfast items following recipes and portion control guidelines- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and fryers- Sanitize workstations and equipment regularly to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment- Package prepared food items for distribution or service- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation- Adhere to all food safety standards and procedures
Requirements:
- Prior experience in the food industry, particularly in breakfast preparation, is preferred- Knowledge of basic math for recipe measurements and portioning- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately- Familiarity with mechanical equipment used in a kitchen setting- Understanding of food safety protocols and guidelines- Forklift experience is a plus- Ability to fabricate ingredients as needed
