We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Software Developer for an enterprise-level contract opportunity based in Toronto. In this role, you will take on a premier full-stack application development, Learning Management System (LMS) customization, and database engineering capacity, specializing in building and modernizing web applications within specialized development environments and .NET frameworks.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will bridge the gap between complex web interfaces, specialized administrative consoles, core .NET microservices, and relational database systems. Operating fully onsite in Toronto, you will lead full-lifecycle software development using GeoTalent (TP Macro Language / Sax Basic), ASP.NET Core, Blazor Server, C#, and SQL Server. This position demands a technical authority with extensive experience in n-tier enterprise architectures, relational data modeling, and automated deployment pipelines who can deliver performant, accessible, and maintainable software solutions.

Responsibilities
Translate complex technical system specifications into working, fully tested web applications across all SDLC phases.

Develop modern web interfaces and enterprise microservices using C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor Server, Entity Framework, and Razor syntax.

Perform complex relational database programming in SQL Server, authoring optimized queries, views, stored procedures, and data models.

Implement e-learning standards and document generation components utilizing SCORM standards and iText PDF libraries.

Develop responsive user interfaces compliant with modern web standards (HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Telerik UI, jQuery).

Manage code repositories, work items, and build pipelines using Azure DevOps and modern Visual Studio environments.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical software defects, system performance bottlenecks, and database conversion issues.

Conduct code walkthroughs and unit testing to ensure adherence to clean code practices, loose coupling, and accessibility standards.

Author detailed technical documentation, programming specifications, and system support runbooks.

Qualifications
Core Technical & Software Development Requirements
Specialized Platform Tenure: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience working within the GeoTalent development environment (TP Macro Language, Sax Basic, and TP environment) to build web and administrative console features.

.NET Engineering Mastery: Minimum 8+ years (10+ years preferred) of hands-on .NET development experience, including C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor Server, and Entity Framework.

Database Programming & Modeling: Extensive hands-on experience with SQL Server, data modeling, and advanced SQL programming (stored procedures, views, complex queries).

Enterprise Architecture: Proven track record designing and delivering n-tier enterprise applications incorporating loosely coupled components and RAD methodologies.

Web & UI Frameworks: Proficient with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript/jQuery, Razor syntax, and Blazor UI components.

DevOps & Tooling: Practical experience managing source code and deployment tasks using Azure DevOps and Visual Studio.

Preferred Technical Assets
