About the role
Our client is looking for an experienced Casino Product & Commercial Lead to help build and grow their North American social/sweepstakes casino.
You’ll own casino product priorities and commercial initiatives, improving the player experience while driving acquisition, retention and revenue growth.
Working directly with the COO and alongside established Product, Engineering, Marketing, CRM and Customer Support teams, you’ll have broad ownership without needing to manage a large team. This is a hands-on role: you’ll define product requirements, work directly with data, adjust CRM campaigns and personally develop commercial opportunities.
What you’ll do
Casino product and content
Improve the casino lobby, navigation, game discovery and recommendations. Shape the game and provider portfolio, analyse performance, support provider negotiations and work with Product and Engineering to deliver commercially valuable improvements.
Brand positioning and growth
Help define why players should choose the casino and which audiences to prioritise. Work with Marketing to evaluate acquisition channels, improve conversion and identify growth opportunities using customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, retention and payback.
Partnerships and audience expansion
Identify and personally approach brands, media companies, sports and entertainment organisations, communities and other potential partners. Develop propositions, negotiate agreements and launch partnerships that attract valuable new players.
Promotions, CRM and retention
Develop profitable promotions, rewards, missions and VIP strategies. Work with the Head of CRM on segmentation and lifecycle campaigns, personally editing, testing and launching campaigns when needed. Improve repeat activity and sportsbook-to-casino crossover.
Data and automation
Use performance data to prioritise initiatives and measure results. Build reporting and lightweight AI or low-code workflows that improve efficiency across reporting, promotions and content management.
What you’ll bring
At least five years of meaningful online casino experience, with evidence of helping build, scale or commercially improve a casino business. Backgrounds in social/sweepstakes, crypto and regulated real-money casino are welcome.
Strong knowledge of casino games, providers, aggregators, player behaviour and game economics, alongside experience shaping casino products or customer experiences.
Commercial understanding of acquisition channels, partnerships, promotional costs, retention and customer lifetime value. You should be able to connect product decisions with measurable business results.
Experience defining requirements with Product and Engineering, confidence working directly with data, and the resourcefulness to execute independently within a lean team.
Particularly valuable
Experience personally sourcing and launching commercial partnerships; hands-on CRM, loyalty or VIP experience; and familiarity with North American social/sweepstakes audiences.
SQL, AI, automation or low-code skills are advantageous, as is experience with platforms such as Customer.io or BigQuery.
