Your Role

As an Electrician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our healthcare facilities remain safe, reliable, and fully operational. Working at the journeyman level, you'll install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and service a wide range of electrical and electronic systems, equipment, and infrastructure while ensuring all work meets applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards.

In this hands-on role, you'll review project requirements, interpret blueprints and specifications, estimate materials and labour, and collaborate with departments to coordinate work. You'll also perform preventative and predictive maintenance, diagnose and repair electrical systems using modern tools and technology, and help keep critical building systems operating efficiently to support exceptional patient care.

• Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification as a Journeyman Electrician recognized by the Province of British Columbia; A minimum of two (2) years of recent, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s License.
• B.C. Class B Field Safety Representative (FSR) Certificate is required.
