FCM Managing Director Green Fund

Federation of Canadian Municipalities

Join FCM as the Managing Director of the Green Municipal Fund, where you’ll spearhead climate action across Canada’s municipalities. This role encompasses strategic vision and investment leadership. In your position, you will work closely with FCM’s leadership team to develop and implement the Green Municipal Fund’s strategy. Your involvement in stakeholder relationships and portfolio management will be essential in achieving measurable community and environmental outcomes. This position calls for a collaborative leader with a strong commitment to sustainable practices and diversity. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the strategic direction of GMF and climate programs
Engage with municipal and federal partners effectively
Ensure accountability and risk management in funding
Foster a culture of innovation and growth
Manage program evolution for community benefit

Requirements:

Strong background in organizational leadership and investment strategies
High-level financial management skills
Bilingual in French and English, written and spoken
Proven track record in complex stakeholder management
Commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion
