The Plastics Supervisor will oversee blow molding operations, leading a small production team and reporting to the Plant Manager. This on-site role focuses on safe, efficient production, consistent quality, effective material management, and team development, with no travel required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily blow molding production activities and a small production team.
- Monitor production processes to support efficiency, consistency, and output.
- Perform quality control checks and address process or product issues.
- Enforce workplace safety policies and maintain safety compliance.
- Manage materials needed for production and help control usage.
- Train and support staff on production procedures, quality expectations, and safety practices.
- Report production and operational matters to the Plant Manager.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supervising plastics manufacturing operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift operator certification.
- Knowledge of process control and quality assurance.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Team leadership experience.
