Location: Downtown Montréal office – Hybrid work model

Your role

Under the supervision of the Finance Manager, the Accounting Intern will support the company’s daily accounting activities. This person will assist the team with month‑end closing processes, account analysis, and internal control activities.

What awaits you

• Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger (GL) accounts and follow up on discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for account reconciliations.
• Participate in month‑end closing activities.
• Analyze accounting transactions and identify anomalies or variances.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and tracking dashboards.
• Assist the team with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Participate in improving and standardizing accounting procedures.
• Support the preparation of documentation required for external audits.
• Perform various financial and administrative analyses as needed by the Finance team.

What we’re looking for

• Currently pursuing studies in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Knowledge of SAP (an asset).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
