FRCPC – Gynecologic Oncology.

Eligible for full licensure with the College of Physician and Surgeons of BC.

Eligible to hold a clinical faculty appointment at UBC and BCCA.

Requisites

• Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License
• Full Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
• Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
• Mandatory Obstetric

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services, including new patient visits/consultations and appropriate medical/surgical care, associated follow-up visits, and ongoing monitoring.
• Perform colposcopic procedures and associated treatment procedures for early detection/prevention of cancer.
• Provide on-call services in Gynecology Oncology in Victoria.
• Participate in the gynaecology tumour group at the BCCA, including evaluation of efficiency, quality, and delivery of services, medical audits, peer and interdisciplinary reviews, chart reviews, and incident report reviews.
• As a faculty member within the UBC Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, involve learners in all aspects of clinical activity, participate in program development and student evaluation.
• Support research and investigation in Gynaecologic Oncology and participate in continuing professional development.

Compensation

Type: Alternative Payment Arrangement. Estimated Remuneration: 1.0 FTE. APP contract that flows through Vancouver Island Health Authority.
