Sales Representative - Forklift Propane
We are seeking an energetic and relationship-focused B2B Outside Sales Representative to promote and sell forklift propane solutions to commercial customers.
This is a full-time, permanent field sales opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people, starting conversations, developing business relationships, and turning prospects into long-term customers. While the role includes learning product and service details, success will largely come from strong communication, confidence, negotiation skills, and the ability to build trust with customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, closing sales, and supporting ongoing account needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outside sales activities to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers.
- Introduce forklift propane solutions to prospective customers and clearly explain product and service benefits.
- Negotiate pricing and service agreements while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Close sales and support the onboarding of new accounts.
- Manage existing customer accounts and respond to questions, concerns, or service needs.
- Track sales activity, prospect interactions, and account updates using a CRM system.
- Monitor customer needs, competitor activity, and relevant market trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support sales initiatives and improve product visibility.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience .
- Previous experience in outside sales, business development, or account management.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage prospective customers in person.
- Proven negotiation and closing skills.
- Comfortable prospecting for new business and developing new accounts.
- Experience using a CRM system to track sales activity and customer information.
- Ability to understand customer needs and identify appropriate sales opportunities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
- Valid driver’s licence is required.
Preferred Assets
- Experience selling products or services to commercial or industrial customers.
- Familiarity with fuel, propane, material handling, warehouse, or forklift-related industries.
