Our studio specializes in semi-private and private training sessions, as well as rehabilitation programs designed to bridge the gap between recovery and fitness.
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Fitness Coach and Studio Coordinator to join our team. This hybrid role combines fitness coaching with operational coordination, ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional services. You'll play a vital role in helping clients achieve their fitness goals while managing key administrative aspects of the studio's operations.
Key Responsibilities
Fitness Coaching
- Private Coaching: Conduct personalized one-on-one sessions tailored to individual goals and progress.
- Semi-Private and Small Group Training: Lead engaging sessions (4-6 participants for semi-private, up to 10 for small groups) with exercises adapted for various fitness levels.
- Program Design: Create customized training plans integrating strength, mobility, and endurance elements.
- Client Engagement: Foster strong relationships by tracking progress, providing feedback, and maintaining motivation.
- Progress Tracking: Document and monitor client progress using fitness management software, ensuring accuracy and regular updates.
Studio Coordination
- Client Support: Teach and guide clients through exercises, emphasizing proper technique and adherence to protocols.
- Progress Oversight: Collaborate with the team to review and adjust participant plans based on tracked results.
- Scheduling and Registrations: Manage program scheduling, client registrations, and membership processes to ensure smooth operations.
- Program Development: Support the creation and promotion of new offerings to enhance engagement and participation.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate attendance and progress records, respond to inquiries, and assist with enrollment.
Qualifications
Education and Certifications
- Certified Personal Trainer (CSEP, NSCA, ISSA, ACE, or equivalent).
- PTA diploma or Kinesiology degree.
- Additional certifications in strength and conditioning, mobility, or functional movement are an asset.
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of personal training experience, preferably in semi-private or small group settings.
- Experience in rehabilitation or post-rehabilitation environments is a strong asset.
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise science.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate clients.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in fitness management software and administrative tools.

Work Schedule (subject to change) :Tuesday: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PMThursday: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PMFriday: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM / Saturday (rotation) : 8:00 AM - 1:00 PMTotal: 18 hours
