Job Responsibility:

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Loader to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the shipping and receiving process, ensuring that products are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently. This position requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various types of equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using forklifts, clamp trucks, or cranes.
• Accurately pick orders based on shipping requirements using a warehouse management system.
• Maintain organization within the warehouse by ensuring that products are stored in designated areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues.
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safety.

Skills

• Proficient in order picking with experience using warehouse management systems.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and clamp trucks.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures within a warehouse distribution setting.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
• Previous experience operating cranes is a plus.

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
