Responsibilities

• Lead all site operations from project start-up through completion.
• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules alongside the Project Manager and trade partners.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams to maintain productivity and schedule.
• Establish and maintain safe, organized, and efficient job sites while championing health and safety.
• Conduct daily site meetings, hazard assessments, and weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and schedule performance while proactively resolving construction challenges.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and shop drawings to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage site logistics, inspections, permits, commissioning activities, and project turnover.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate project status with the project team.
• Mentor junior field staff and foster a collaborative, accountable site culture.
• Support project closeout activities, warranty work, and site demobilization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction industry experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent with a general contractor.
• Proven experience delivering ICI construction projects valued at $30M+ .
• Experience on institutional, healthcare, education, recreation, government, or commercial projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, contract administration, and building systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, Procore, and other construction management software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
