Pay range: $72, 000 to $80, 000.

Your daily role:

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on people, safety, quality, delivery and cost
• Develop and implement standard work procedures and visual management systems.
• Train and coach supervisors, team leaders, and operators on Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify opportunities related to productivity, downtime, waste reduction and yield improvement.
• Drive initiatives focused on reducing product giveaway, improving packaging efficiency, and increasing line speeds while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Champion a culture of employee engagement, ownership, and continuous improvement throughout the facility.

Your profile:

• Post secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline - or equivalent knowledge and/or experience;
• Excellent interpersonal/listening skills in order to interact with a diverse workforce;
• Mechanical aptitude and experience; analytical;
• Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools
• Food manufacturing processes and food safety requirements;
• Outgoing, visible, and approachable with the ability to inspire and influence others;
• Problem solver with the courage to lead change; resolve conflict; respected and respectful
• Committed to personal development;
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to navigate a great deal of urgency while maintaining a positive team environment
• Ability to travel between worksites
