Build AI-powered Momentum capabilities as a Senior Backend Software Engineer in Salesforce’s Vancouver office-flexible environment. Apply Java, APIs, and prompt engineering.This senior software engineering role covers architecture, design, implementation, testing, and operations across Salesforce’s Momentum product. You will develop backend services, event-driven workflows, and secure data processing for enterprise-scale, multi-tenant systems. The work also includes frontend contributions, reliability, and AI-assisted development.Key Responsibilities:
Design and operate Momentum product capabilitiesDevelop backend services, APIs, and event-driven workflowsProcess conversation, recording, transcript, and insight data securelyImprove reliability through monitoring and distributed-system diagnosisCollaborate across Product, Design, Security, and engineering teamsRequirements:
Eight or more years of backend software development experienceKnowledge of Java, C++, Go, Python, or JavaScriptExperience with Spring, gRPC, REST, and prompt engineering and AI development tool experienceWillingness to participate in on-call rotationBring backend engineering, AI fluency, and prompt engineering expertise to trusted Momentum experiences at Salesforce in Vancouver.
