Health and Safety Specialist Focused on Risk Management and Compliance

Elevate project safety standards as a Health and Safety Specialist. Support clients in construction by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of risk reduction in operations.
You will play a pivotal role in advocating for safe work environments by overseeing health and safety processes on-site. Candidates should bring a minimum of five years’ experience, strong knowledge of occupational safety laws, and proven skills in facilitating training and safety discussions. Your expertise will guide effective risk management and incident reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular site inspections and documentation
• Facilitate orientation for contractors and new workers
• Support emergency drills and response initiatives
• Provide guidance on safety issues and improvement plans
• Maintain compliance records according to legal requirements
Requirements:
• Diploma or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety
• Five years of field experience in construction environments
• CRSP, CRST, or equivalent certification
• Strong knowledge of Ontario workplace safety laws
• Valid Class G driver's license
