Ontario Senior Developer - Java Focus (Toronto)

Seeking a Senior Java Developer in Ontario to drive technical excellence and software innovation. Utilize your 6+ years of experience in Java and cloud services to make an impact.
You will work closely with Product Owners and fellow developers in an agile workplace, taking ownership of backlog items and leading feature development. Your strong background in Java/JEE, cloud technologies, and application architecture will be essential in producing high-quality software solutions. Further engage in design discussions and provide valuable peer feedback during code reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Owners to gather requirements
- Own the backlog and lead development efforts
- Conduct thorough design and code reviews
- Prototype and troubleshoot both front-end and back-end solutions
- Showcase project features to client stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of Java/JEE development experience
- Skilled in multi-tier architecture and responsive design
- Knowledgeable in AWS and Google Cloud services
- Familiarity with tools like Bitbucket and Jira
- Strong communication and leadership skills
