Volt is immediately hiring for Internal Communications Representative in Charlottetown, PE C1E 0A1, Canada.

As an Internal Communications Representative, you will serve as a key communications partner to leadership, helping drive employee engagement, support organizational transformation initiatives, and deliver clear, impactful messaging across the business. 

Key Responsibilities

Executive Communications

• Partner with the Canada leadership team to develop and execute strategic internal communication plans.
• Create executive-level communications, including leadership messages, speeches, presentations, talking points, newsletters, and employee updates.
• Support leadership visibility and employee engagement through town halls, leadership events, and communication campaigns.
• Develop messaging that aligns business priorities, organizational goals, and change initiatives.

Internal & Organization Communications

• Translate complex business and operational information into clear, engaging content for diverse employee audiences.
• Develop innovative communication strategies utilizing video, digital signage, intranet content, infographics, and other multimedia tools.
• Support organization-wide transformation and change management communications.
• Ensure message consistency and alignment across departments and leadership teams.
• Manage and update internal intranet content and communication platforms.
• Coordinate communications and promotional efforts for company-sponsored and community engagement events.
• Serve as a communications subject matter expert for external communications in partnership with Corporate Public Relations.

Collaboration & Communication Strategy

• Support communications projects for senior executives and cross-functional business teams.
• Drive employee engagement through creative communication programs and campaigns.
• Manage confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Provide regular communication updates, reports, and executive summaries for leadership reviews and special projects.

This is a  full time opportunity.

Required Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in internal communications, executive communications, corporate communications, public relations, or employee communications.
• Exceptional written, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience developing communications for executives and senior leadership teams.
• Background supporting organizational change, transformation initiatives, or change management communications.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand organizational priorities.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills and experience developing executive presentations.
• Proficiency in AP (Associated Press) Style writing and editing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience navigating complex business issues and synthesizing feedback from multiple stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to influence partners and stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
• Proven success developing and executing high-impact communication strategies and employee engagement programs.
• High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.

Pay Rate:  $25.00 - $30.73 CAD per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
