Senior Manager Of Machine Learning Engineering Winnipeg

Drive change in credit systems at Affim as the Senior Manager of Machine Learning Engineering. Your leadership will guide the creation of models aimed at fraud detection and user experience.
In this role, you'll focus on setting the blueprint for fraud detection models while managing a skilled team of engineers. You will ensure that advanced machine learning techniques are effectively utilized in a secure production environment. Collaboration with Product and Engineering departments will be essential to ensure model integration meets business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish fraud detection model strategy aligned with key outcomes
- Direct full ML lifecycle management for model development
- Innovate modeling methodologies, incorporating advanced ML techniques
- Partner with various teams to define solutions and evaluate models
- Coach and mentor engineers to enhance team performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in a related field with 8+ years of experience
- 3+ years managing machine learning engineers
- Knowledge in both up-to-date and traditional ML approaches
- Experience delivering complete ML solutions in production
- Strong ability in cross‑functional team collaborations
