Goldsim Water Resources Consultant

Apply GoldSim expertise as a Water Resources Consultant with Barr in Calgary, supporting water balance modelling and environmental analysis. This role offers hybrid or remote arrangements.Barr seeks a consultant with at least five years of water balances, water resources analysis, and modelling experience. You will develop GoldSim models, support mining and industrial water management, and translate complex results into practical guidance. The work includes hydrologic, hydraulic, and water-quality studies, project coordination, and QA/QC.Key Responsibilities:
Develop site-wide and basin-scale water balance modelsPerform operational forecasting, scenario planning, and sensitivity evaluationsConduct hydrologic, hydraulic, and water-quality analysesTranslate modelling outcomes into actionable client guidanceCoordinate projects and mentor junior staffRequirements:
At least five years of relevant applied experienceBachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, science, or related disciplineExperience developing GoldSim and spreadsheet-based water balance modelsStrong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsValid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordBring GoldSim modelling, water management, and technical communication expertise to Barr’s Calgary-based water resources consulting team.
