Pharmacy Support Person
Silver Fox Pharmacy is looking for positive-thinking, enthusiastic pharmacy support person to join our dynamic team at our London location! The ideal candidate will be energetic and eager to learn new skills as they will be assisting in various departments within the pharmacy. This is an entry-level position within the pharmacy environment; the successful applicant will be trained on the job. A general aptitude for and interest in IT equipment is an asset.
Responsibilities Include:
- Rolling, separating and manipulating medication strip packaging as required
- Communicating with our IT team in Burlington-Answering IT related calls from the London area homes that we service, troubleshooting if possible, forwarding to the appropriate person for resolution
- Filling blister packs as required
- Reconciling and packaging medication for delivery as required
- Reordering and maintaining inventory levels of parts and equipment as required
- Working with our shipping and receiving team as required
- Keeping a safe, comfortable, clean work environment
- Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a positive team spirit
- General knowledge of IT an asset
- Willingness to learn and accept new responsibilities as they arise.
- Excellent organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
