Quality-Focused Mechanical Inspector in Québec

Ideal candidates will possess strong knowledge in quality control tests, including nondestructive and mechanical testing. The role requires strategic travel, and a collegial approach to meet client specifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspections at fabrication and testing facilities
- Review and verify material tests against applicable standards
- Document inspection results and strategies electronically
- Coordinate follow-up on non-conformances with relevant teams
- Engage in inspection plans that meet all acceptable standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 5 years in inspection or auditing environments
- Familiarity with NDT, welding, and mechanical testing
- Solid grasp on material properties and relevant codes
- Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
