Lead advanced pricing models and machine learning at Aviva Canada through a hybrid flexible work model. Shape analytics for profitable growth and better customer outcomes.As Assistant Vice President, Data Science and Price Modelling, you will lead technical teams and enterprise data science initiatives. Partner with Pricing, Actuarial, Risk, Technology, and Engineering teams. Apply predictive modelling, machine learning, analytics, and model governance to complex business challenges.Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop data science leaders, scientists, and analystsDrive advanced pricing model development, enhancement, and deploymentTranslate analytical findings into actionable business recommendationsOversee model governance, validation, monitoring, and performanceDrive adoption of analytical tools, models, and insightsRequirements:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent education and experience10+ years in data science, machine learning, analytics, or related fieldsExperience leading and developing high-performing technical teamsStrong predictive modelling and machine learning methodology understandingExcellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder influence skillsBring pricing analytics, people leadership, and machine learning expertise to advance Aviva Canada's data-driven insurance capabilities.
