Rheaume Engineering Inc. (Rheaume) is seeking a part- or full-time Designer to join our team, based in either our Calgary or Grande Prairie office.

Who We Are
Rheaume is an Alberta-based EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction management) firm, founded in 2005, with 40 staff members.
For engineering projects in industry sectors such as energy, mining, pulp & paper, and agriculture, Rheaume provides services in:
• Project management and project controls
• Design work within the following disciplines:
o Process
o Mechanical
o Civil
o Structural
o Electrical
o Instrumentation
o Controls
• Procurement
• Regulatory support
• Construction management/support
Rheaume’s specialty is oil & gas facility and pipeline design.
Rheaume has built a reputation around quality engineering and fit-for-purpose solutions. Our success is based on a solid foundation of engineering, and we have the skill set to manage, design, construct, and commission projects of all sizes.

This enables us to deliver engineering projects that start quickly, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changes in project scope with minimal disruption.
Having offices in Calgary and Grande Prairie allows us to maximize our engagement with field operations and sets us apart within the industry.

Role Description
• Design mechanical piping systems and structural supports
• Prepare drawings, including:
o 2D plot plans, PFDs, and P&IDs
o 3D piping models
o Mechanical piping plans, general arrangements, and piping isometric drawings
o Structural and civil 3D model components and drawings
• Review vendor equipment package drawings
• Collaborate with and support project managers and engineers
• Maintain accurate and organized drawing files within existing file structure
• Manage assigned tasks and deadlines

Candidate Requirements
• Must be currently residing in Alberta, Canada
• Must have post-secondary CAD training (SAIT EDDT or equivalent)
• Must have knowledge of CAD programs such as: AutoCAD, CADWorx, ProCAD and Navisworks
• Structural design experience valued

• Either employee or contractor status may be considered for this role
