Senior Analyst, Finance

Position Overview

Senior Analyst, Finance – Supports the Treasury and Operations portfolio, focusing on expense management, financial reporting, governance, severance analysis, and reconciliations. Provides leadership in consolidation, analysis, and presentation of financial results to senior stakeholders and contributes to month‑, quarter‑ and year‑end close processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidate, analyze, and report on financial performance for assigned business or group.
• Prepare journal entries, monthly and quarterly reporting packages, financial statements, tax payments, and reconciliations in accordance with accounting rules.
• Support month‑, quarter‑ and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and performance reporting.
• Oversee investment and disposal activities, ensuring accurate and compliant financial operations.
• Collaborate with teams such as Compensation, Finance Planning & Reporting (FPM), and others to maintain accurate data and support efficient processes.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations by analyzing results and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Act as escalation point for operational matters outside policy and for audit‑related concerns.
• Coordinate and execute strategic initiatives, tracking metrics and milestones.
• Execute routine service requests and maintain adherence to service level agreements.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant finance/accounting experience with a post‑secondary degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
• CPA designation completed or near completion required.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently on complex tasks and exercise judgment within Risk Management Framework.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $61,600.00 – $113,900.00 (salaried). Compensation may vary based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
