To be considered for the role, you must have the following experience:

• High proficiency in the use of Rockwell Automation's Studio 5000 Logix Designer and associated software for programming ControlLogix processors
• Proficiency and experience with industrial Ethernet networks
• Knowledge and experience with PID loop controllers
• Basic knowledge of Plant SCADA or equivalent technology (AVEVA/FactoryTalk View SE/Ignition)
• Experience with mentoring and managing the workload of a team

Experience with any of the following is not essential but would be and asset:

• Proficiency with Schneider Electric and Siemens PLC hardware and software

The position requires travel to attend Factory Acceptance Tests and perform on-site commissioning.

You must have the following experience to be considered for this role:

• Bachelor of Engineering
• A minimum of five years' experience with Rockwell Automation's Studio 5000 Logix Designer programming software including on-site commissioning experience
• A minimum of ten years' experience as an Automation Engineer in mineral and/or heavy industrial processing
• A minimum of ten years' programming experience across a range of PLC software

Salary range in BC: $115,000-175,000 The salary offered to the successful person for this position will consider education, experience, relevant skills and capability, geographic location and market conditions at the time of hire.
