Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and warehousing industry, is seeking a dedicated General Labour to join their team. As a General Labour, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting warehouse activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: General Labour
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Pay Range: Piece work-$100.00 per trialer
Shift: days - Start time varys
What's the Job?
- Assist with off-loading frozen products by hand and preparing them for storage or shipment
- Palettize products efficiently to ensure safe handling and transportation
- Sort and move freight within the warehouse or distribution center
- Work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to coordinate tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
What's Needed?
- Must be able to do heavy lifting
- Ability to perform manual tasks safely and effectively
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lifting as needed
