Senior Defence Infrastructure Director

Lead complex defence infrastructure delivery with WSP in Edmonton or Victoria, directing multidisciplinary teams and national public-sector projects.As Senior Project Director, Defence Infrastructure, you will oversee projects across military bases, shipyards, aircraft hangars, and related facilities. Your leadership will span planning, procurement, design, construction, commissioning, and closeout. You will guide project governance, client relationships, and delivery outcomes across controlled-access environments.Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of defence and federal infrastructure projectsEstablish schedules, budgets, resource plans, quality controls, and risk strategiesDirect architecture, engineering, security, and project controls disciplinesServe as primary client interface and delivery accountability pointCoordinate Defence Construction Canada, contractors, regulators, and stakeholdersRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related disciplineMinimum 12 years of progressive project delivery experienceAt least five years delivering defence or federal infrastructure projectsExperience managing complex capital projects valued at $25 million or greaterAbility to obtain and maintain required federal security clearanceDirect WSP's national defence infrastructure portfolio through strategic leadership, governance, client relationships, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
