Senior 3D Character Artist Unreal Engine
Piranha Games, Inc.
Model stylized-realistic characters for Piranha Games, using anatomy expertise and Unreal Engine 5 knowledge to support AAA game development.
As an Intermediate or Senior Character Artist, you will work under the Art Director and Lead Character Artist. Design, model, and texture characters while maintaining quality, style, personality, and technical requirements. Your work supports fantasy characters, creatures, game development, and cinematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement character artistic direction from designs, concepts, and descriptions
- Model and texture characters with accurate anatomy and proportions
- Collaborate with concept artists, animators, designers, and VFX artists
- Support efficient character production and technical integration processes
- Mentor junior artists and share documented workflow feedback
Requirements:
- Four to seven-plus years on AAA console or PC titles
- At least two shipped games as a Character Artist
- Exceptional understanding of human and animal anatomy
- Knowledge of major 3D packages and Photoshop
- Expertise incorporating characters in Unreal Engine 5
