Business Systems Consultant – Salesforce CRM

Client & Location

Client: Big 5 Bank
Location: Hybrid; 1–2 days a week in Toronto

Contract Details

Duration: 6‑month contract, with strong possibility of extension or conversion to full‑time based on project budget and performance.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead complex projects to design strategic solutions aligned to the enterprise architecture roadmap.
  • Support end‑to‑end project implementation and act as a subject‑matter expert in both business and technology.
  • Ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and build flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best‑in‑class client experience.
  • Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs.
  • Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Build client‑focused solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Prepare and validate solution design documents around scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
  • Provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals; support end‑to‑end project implementation as a subject‑matter expert.
  • Maintain a collaborative work environment and help team members resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.

Requirements

  • 3–5years of hands‑on experience supporting the Salesforce CRM platform.
  • Experience as a Business Systems Analyst with proven experience in agile delivery and requirements management on large, complex projects.
  • Experience with Dashboarding, Analytics, and Financial Services Cloud.
  • Combination of traditional business analysis skills (e.g., system context diagrams, use cases, storyboards, relative estimation) with agile analysis skills.
  • Experience in requirements planning and prioritization, including stakeholder analysis and effort estimation.
  • Proficiency in requirement elicitation techniques such as data analysis, document analysis, interviews, facilitated workshops, observation, prototyping, focus groups, and surveys.
  • Strong skills in requirements management and communication, including requirements walkthroughs, scope and change management, traceability, configuration management, backlog management, and user provisioning.
  • Nice‑to‑have: experience working in Scrum environments.
  • Nice‑to‑have: Salesforce Administrator certification.
  • Nice‑to‑have: critical thinking and design thinking skills with experience in user‑centered design.
