Part-Time Nanny, Early Learning & Household Helper

We are looking for a warm, reliable, energetic and proactive part-time nanny and household helper to care for our young (2.5 year old) daughter during the first half of the day. The regular schedule would be approximately 8:30 AM–1:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, ending around her nap time. We are looking for someone who wants to be actively involved in her development, not simply supervise her. A big part of the role will be creating a fun and consistent morning routine that includes one intentional learning or enrichment activity each day, along with play, outings and everyday toddler care. Activities may include:

• Reading and early learning – books, letters, vocabulary, storytelling and age-appropriate learning activities
• Music – singing, rhythm, beginner keyboard, drumming or percussion
• Arts – crafts, drawing, painting and creative projects
• Dance and movement – music, simple choreography and age-appropriate movement activities
• Sports – beginner soccer, basketball, baseball, ball hockey, throwing, catching and other gross-motor activities

We are not looking for formal classroom-style tutoring. We want someone creative who can make learning feel like play and introduce her to different skills and interests. Potty training will also be an important part of the daily routine, so we are looking for someone patient and consistent who is comfortable reinforcing the approach we use at home. Household Responsibilities: During natural downtime, independent play, snack/lunch time and other appropriate moments throughout the morning, we would also like help keeping the household running smoothly. Responsibilities may include:

• Starting, switching, folding and putting away laundry
• Tidying toys and play areas
• Keeping our daughter's bedroom and belongings organized
• Loading/unloading the dishwasher
• Wiping kitchen counters and eating areas
• Light vacuuming or sweeping of high-traffic areas
• General household tidying
• Cleaning up after meals, crafts and activities

This is not a heavy-duty housekeeping position. Childcare and engaging with our daughter remain the priority, with light household tasks incorporated naturally into the day. Privacy, Safety & Discretion: Our daughter's privacy and safety are extremely important to our family. We are looking for someone who is naturally discreet and understands the responsibility that comes with working closely with a family and young child. The successful candidate must be comfortable respecting clear confidentiality and privacy expectations, including:

• No posting photos or videos of our daughter on social media
• No sharing information about her routines, activities, location or whereabouts
• No sharing photos, personal family information or details about our household with others without permission
• Being mindful of privacy and safety when out in public with her
• Using good judgment regarding who receives information about her or the family
• Treating anything seen or learned while working in our home as private and confidential

We want someone who will protect her privacy and safety with the same level of care they would give their own family. About the Role: We would love to find someone who is:

• Comfortable around dogs — we have a large, friendly Golden Retriever
• Willing to travel with our family occasionally
• Comfortable helping with simple meals and snacks
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified
• Interested in developing a consistent, long-term relationship with our family
