Pharmacovigilance Associate

Cencora seeks a Pharmacovigilance Associate to support patient and provider services in Canada. The role involves managing medical information inquiries, capturing adverse events and safety reports, and coordinating with clinical and regulatory partners to ensure compliance and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Resolve routine and moderately complex medical information inquiries using approved standards
• Capture, triage, and escalate adverse events and product quality complaints within required timelines
• Maintain scientific response content and documentation records for audit readiness
• Coordinate with medical affairs, regulatory, and safety partners on exception resolution
• Mentor junior staff and identify workflow improvements to reduce errors and strengthen compliance

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Associate degree in pharmacy, medicine, nursing, pharmacology, or related life sciences field preferred
• 3+ years experience in medical information, pharmacovigilance, or healthcare operations
• Certification in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, or medical information preferred
• Knowledge of adverse event capture, documentation, and regulatory timelines
• Strong coordination and communication skills across cross-functional teams
