Community Mental Health Worker

JOB :
-To provide case management function, counselling support, life skills coaching and assessment of client's skills in accordance with individual treatment plans to individuals who are residing in our Next Steps and Group Home programs that provide supports to individuals with a mental illness and/or substance misuse.
-Primary responsibility is to ensure a safe, supportive and healthy environment for the tenants according to our program outline.
-- Minimum of two years post-secondary education in social/health sciences
-- Some related work experience would be beneficial
-- Good communication skills
-- Knowledge of mental illnesses
