Accessibility-Focused Front End Developer at CBC

Elevate the user experience at CBC/Radio-Canada as a Front End Developer focused on accessibility. Your hybrid role will combine technical skills and a commitment to best practices in web development. As a valued member of the Enterprise Application Development team, you will ensure web properties adhere to strict accessibility standards. Your technical prowess in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will help convert UI/UX designs into interactive experiences while collaborating with the Accessibility team to prioritize and resolve issues affecting design quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Accessibility team on issue evaluation
- Convert UI/UX designs into interactive web experiences
- Build applications using frameworks like React or Angular
- Ensure compliance with WCAG standards across platforms
- Conduct user testing and research for product improvement
- Three or more years as a UX Front-End Developer
- Educational background in Software or related fields
- Extensive knowledge of SPA development
- Mastery of JavaScript frameworks and REST APIs
- Bilingual in French and English is a plus
