-Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
-Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
-Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
-Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
-Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
-Draw up production schedules
-Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
-Prepare special orders
-Train staff
-Schedule staff
Languages: English
Experience: 1-2 years of experience required.
Education: -Completion of Secondary School
-Completion of a 3- or 4-year baker apprenticeship program, OR completion of a college program for bakers, OR several years of commercial baking experience
