Summer Volunteer Opportunity: Guest Services Ambassador

SUMMARY

We're launching a Summer Guest Services Ambassador program for volunteers who love hosting and connecting with people. This role is all about being out on the mountain, talking with guests, and helping create a memorable visit. The best Ambassadors are outgoing, warm conversationalists who genuinely enjoy meeting new people every shift. This is a fast-paced, fun environment where every day is a little different.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Host and welcome guests, striking up conversation and making them feel at home
• Answer questions and share recommendations about our summer activities
• Help guests with wayfinding and get the most out of their visit
• Support guest flow at activity stations or information points
• Take on other tasks as needed to support the team

This role does not include cash, credit, or debit transaction handling.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• No prior experience is required, training provided
• Previous customer service experience is an asset
• Additional languages an asset
• Personable, friendly, and outgoing, with a genuine enjoyment of working with people
• Comfortable being active and on your feet for extended periods
• Reliable and enthusiastic, with a positive attitude

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is a rain or shine role! Hours of operation are weather dependent, so some flexibility in scheduling is appreciated, including availability on weekends or statutory holidays where possible. Shifts may involve standing for long periods, light lifting, and other physical activity, mostly outdoors.
