Industrial Automation Specialist at Maple Leaf Foods

Join the automation team at Maple Leaf Foods' Lagimodiere facility. As an Industrial Automation Specialist, you'll troubleshoot and maintain automated controls to ensure optimal production efficiency. In this hands-on role, you will leverage your expertise in HMI, PLCs, and industrial communication protocols to manage and maintain automation systems. Your responsibilities will include performing preventive maintenance and providing technical support to the maintenance team. This position operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot HMI, PLC, and communication network issues
• Interpret and manage control diagrams and field devices
• Maintain backups for FactoryTalk Asset Centre and other systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance on automation and CCTV systems
• Provide training and documentation for system changes

Requirements:

• Diploma in Industrial Automation or equivalent
• 2-3 years of hands-on automation experience
• Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC and SCADA systems
• Experience with DeltaV systems and Beckhoff PLCs is a plus
• Willingness to flexible schedules, including weekends
