Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of software engineering experience, including 5 years of hands-on Python development.
- Demonstrated experience personally building, shipping, and owning production software.
- Strong software architecture and system-design skills, including the ability to decompose complex or ambiguous problems into practical solutions.
- Ability to independently design and build software from scratch with minimal technical oversight.
- Daily, proficient use of agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or GitHub Copilot.
- Practical understanding of agentic AI building blocks, including context, memory, guardrails, tool calling / MCP, skills, and orchestration.
- Strong judgment when assessing AI-generated code and identifying correctness, dependency, and security issues.
- Strong Git proficiency.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to write precise technical specifications.
- Current residency in Quebec. Remote work is available within the province.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering production agentic systems or AI-powered applications end to end.
- Contributions to MCP servers or tools, evaluation frameworks, or agent-orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI.
- Experience evaluating model and agent performance.
- Familiarity with GitLab and GitLab CI.
- Experience deploying and operating applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
