Head of Cyber Defence and Incident Response

Lead initiatives in cybersecurity across hybrid environments, optimizing security tooling to enhance overall defenses. Based in Markham, Ontario, or Eastern USA, this senior leadership role reports to the CISO and is responsible for cyber defense operations, including partnership with an MSSP. You will oversee incident response life cycles, bolster threat and vulnerability management, and drive improvements using threat intelligence. Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end incident response and coordination Manage MSSP relationships, SLAs, and service governance Optimize and automate security monitoring tools Direct the vulnerability management program efficiency Conduct regular tabletop exercises and incident simulations Requirements

Extensive experience in cyber defense and incident response Proficiency in SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and cloud security Hands‑on management of MSSP capabilities and governance Solid incident response and forensic investigation skills Knowledge of threat hunting practices and MITRE ATT&CK Lead Quadient’s cybersecurity framework, ensuring robust defenses and effective incident management in a hybrid setting.
