Civil Construction Senior Project Manager

Nexco Construction Company is seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Lead civil construction projects from start to finish while managing schedules and budgets. This role requires leading projects through all stages from pre-construction to closeout. With over 5 years of civil construction project management experience, you will coordinate efforts of subcontractors and suppliers while ensuring projects meet quality standards. Exceptional communication and financial management skills are critical in this position. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead civil construction projects from pre-construction to completion
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets
• Oversee financial performance and identify profitability opportunities
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Communicate progress updates and strategic direction during project meetings

Requirements:

• 5+ years in civil construction project management
• Knowledge of construction methods and project controls
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office
