Automotive Mechanics for our operations in Labrador City, NL.

The position schedule will be 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Flights and accommodations will be provided for employees living outside of the region.
Requirements/Duties;
- Red seal Automotive Mechanic trade
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of light vehicle and automotive systems
- Inspect brake systems, wheel bearings, steering components and other engine parts, and perform repairs as required
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
- Previous experience with diagnostics with any software
- Previous experience with Ford is an asset .
- Help prevent breakdowns by checking, cleaning, and oiling machine parts regularly
- Be aware of surroundings at all times
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
- Ensure safety of fellow employees
