Capital Project Engineer (II, III, or Senior)

Mosaic is seeking a Capital Project Engineer to manage a portfolio of surface, shaft, and underground mining projects at our Colonsay Mine. This role supports both new mine development and asset-sustaining initiatives and is responsible for project execution from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage capital projects of varying size and complexity
Oversee scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality
Coordinate contractors and promote a strong safety culture
Develop cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, and schedules
Provide engineering design support and oversee third-party engineering
Support construction activities in an industrial environment
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to achieve site objectives

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
APEGS EIT or P.Eng designation required (level dependent)
Project management experience in industrial, mining, manufacturing, or construction environments
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and contractor management
Ability to work in an underground mine environment
Must be authorized to work in Canada

Experience Requirements:
Engineer II: 2+ years
Engineer III: 4+ years and P.Eng
Senior Engineer: 8+ years and P.Eng

Preferred:
Underground mining experience
Construction management experience
Brownfield or operating plant project experience
