Position: Counter 1 – Inventory Control / Material Sorting

Location: North York, ON

Shift: Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $19.20 per hour

Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Scan and sort raw materials and create sorting lists
• Print labels and re-label raw materials as required
• Organize and verify RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) returns and identify discrepancies
• Re-arrange bins, maintain 5S standards, and update productivity boards
• Lift, sort, and re-bag raw materials
• Audit and inspect RMA bins to ensure accurate sorting
• Prepare reports and maintain records of orders staged for delivery and loads being created
• Report inaccuracies or discrepancies to the Supervisor or Lead Hand for resolution
• Process inventory reallocations as required
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to cycle counts and track orders in Pronto
• Work with finished goods facilities to resolve any issues that arise
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

• High school diploma, college, technical/vocational education, or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred
• Knowledge of inventory control practices is an asset
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and perform visual inspections
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in computer applications, including Pronto and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and scanning skills
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling
• Ability to stand for extended periods and repeatedly lift up to 50lbs
