Responsibilities:· Maintain land records including the irrigation roll, land classification data, lease agreements, irrigable units, annual alternate parcel agreements and relevant survey data.
· Professional and effective correspondence with clients, regulatory agencies, lawyers, engineers, and industry peer
· Handle inquiries from landowners as to water right applications, water right transfers and rearrangement of water rights and relocation of irrigation works.
· Assist with project development and research land title information in Spin II.
· Communicate drafting requirements and updates to GIS.
· Prepare land transfers, caveats and discharges for registration on title.
Qualifications:· 3-5 years' relevant experience as land administrator for an Irrigation District or industry equivalent
· Surface Land Administration diploma or certificate from a recognized program such as SAIT, Mount Royal, Olds College, etc
· Basic knowledge of Autocad and GIS software
· Must have a working knowledge of agriculture and Alberta Land Titles
Alberta Commissioners for Oaths appointment or ability to acquire- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Five days a week in office position (no remote work), full time hours 36.25 weekly.
