Enhance patient satisfaction as a Patient Experience Specialist with Southlake Health in Newmarket, Ontario. This full-time role focuses on improving patient and family engagement within a hybrid working environment. In this permanent, full-time role, you will actively contribute to both volunteer resource management and patient experience initiatives. Reporting to the Manager of Patient Experience, you will recruit and supervise volunteers while also driving patient feedback programs. This dual focus ensures a comprehensive approach to elevating care and enhancing the healthcare environment for everyone involved. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and train new volunteers while overseeing performance
- Collaborate with clinical teams to embed the patient voice
- Manage patient experience data and implement improvements
- Lead volunteer recognition activities and events
- Develop training manuals and policy documents
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- Minimum 3 years of volunteer management experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Understanding of patient-centered care principles
- Experience with VSys volunteer management system is an asset
