We are a warm and welcoming family in Whitby looking for a caring, reliable, and trustworthy live-in nanny to help care for our little one. Your primary responsibility will be providing attentive, loving care and creating a safe, happy environment for our child. This is a live-in, part-time position with a flexible schedule, making it ideal for someone looking for a stable home while working a manageable number of hours each week. We value work-life balance and are happy to work with the right candidate to create a schedule that works for everyone. Responsibilities include:

• Caring for our child before and after school.
• Preparing simple meals and snacks for the child.
• School pick-ups and drop-offs (driving is an asset).
• Engaging in age-appropriate activities, play, and learning.
• Light housekeeping related to the child and maintaining tidy common areas.
• Occasional evening or overnight care when needed (with advance notice).

What we’re looking for:

• Kind, patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoys working with children.
• Previous childcare experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s licence is an asset. If you can drive, we will provide a vehicle for work-related transportation.
• Someone who communicates well, respects our home, and is looking for a long-term position.
