This is a full-time, live-out position that requires a compassionate individual who can assist with home care needs. My mom and dad live in their house with a dog. The primary responsibilities will include providing personal care for my stroke survivor elderly mother . This involves aiding with daily activities such as dressing her, grooming, and ensuring overall comfort. But mostly pivot transfers from chair to chair and bathroom duties(you must have technique and be strong). Also daily laundry, organising mom’s clothing, keeping kitchen clean, keeping floors clean, dusting and keeping mom’s bathroom clean and organised. Making sure medication has been given by dad. And taken. We are looking for someone who is very patient, respectful, is soft spoken, enjoys a chuckle and has experience in elder care. My mom has her intellect despite stroke.
